'Regulation, Europe & Innovation' is the core theme of the LEGS group. This theme is investigated from the joint perspectives of the legal and economic disciplines, with a focus on multi-actor and multi-level governance. Research topics of particular interest include: multi-level regulation, smart rules & regulations and regional studies. These topics serve as a link with various educational programmes within the Innovation and Governance Studies (IGS). The group participates in the education programmes of Business Administration, European Studies, Management Science, as well as for Health Sciences, Technical Business Administration and Civil Engineering.

Additionally, LEGS provides post-academic education with the Master of Public Management and Master of Environmental and Energy Management.

Professorships at LEGS include: Economics of Governance, European Economic Governance, Public Law, Private Law, European Law and Law & Economics.
