The School of Management and Governance is one of the six faculties of the University of Twente. We provide educational programmes and undertake research in the areas of (International) Business Administration, Public Administration, Health Sciences, Business Information Technology and Industrial Engineering & Management.

University of Twente

The University of Twente (UT) is one of the smaller universities in the Netherlands with 9,000 students and around 3,300 full-time employees. Education at the UT benefits greatly from our small size and informality. This means we often work in small groups, and there are very low barriers between students and staff. At the same time, UT is the only Dutch university that has a campus, and we are able to offer a level of facilities of which many larger universities are jealous.

Practical application is the 'red thread' that runs through all educational and research activities at our university. And we do not leave application only to others. Not for nothing is UT called 'the entrepreneurial university'. Our campus is a hothouse for 'spin-offs'; hundreds of companies and small businesses in the region have been set up by UT students with the support of our university. The University of Twente works with all kinds of partners, across business, the public sector and voluntary and community sector organisations.
