Enrolment for the Bachelor's and Master's Programmes 2010

Thanks to the successful introduction of International Business Administration, an increase in the number of first year students reached 11%, compared to 2009. European Studies also enjoys growing interest in study-seekers. The inflow from Germany is increasing. The expectation is that these inflows in 2011 will increase even more. There is not found an exact cause for the decline of students Business Information Technology. Next year the marketing and communications department will develop additional activities to attract more potential students for this programme. For the decrease in Industrial Engineering and Management may be noted that, although to a lesser extent, this decline has also be observed in other universities. The first-years programme enrolments include students who have enrolled in a programme for the first time, and within this number there are also those who yet may switch their studies. The table below shows the number of students currently enrolled in programmes at the School of Management and Governance.

The table below shows the number of students coming into the School of Management and Governance; the largest share of those coming to the University of Twente are studying at the School of Management and Governance.

Master Programmes

As for the master enrolments increased slightly last year. Together with the Faculty of Behavioural Sciences, the School of Management and Governance provides the majority of students within the university.
